Responsibilities
- Interpreting engineering designs and specifications to create detailed technical drawings
- Utilising computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate 2D drawings
- Collaborating with engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback
- Ensuring drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company policies
- Maintaining a comprehensive library of engineering drawings and documentation
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting or a related technical field
- Proficient in the use of CAD software such as AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering specifications
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with engineering standards, regulations, and best practices
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar drafting or design-related role
