Responsibilities
- Identify potential new prospects and market opportunities for sales throughout the industrial markets in the Malaysia
- As the Sales Engineer, will possess the technical aptitude to support and introduce BöttcherTec rubber compound solutions
- Identify, open and close new customer & application opportunities
- Develop and maintain key strategic customer relationships on an ongoing basis
- Clearly communicate customer needs to General Manager
- Confer with customers to assess needs and to determine rubber compound requirements
- Develop and deliver professional sales proposals
- Maintain accurate sales forecast to aid in resource planning and execution
- Develop both strategic and tactical sales plans
- Promote the company and its capabilities by attending trade shows and industry conferences when necessary
- Apply working knowledge of the BöttcherTec to identify and evaluate potential customer applications and make recommendations accordingly.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated sales hunter with territory development experiences
- Results oriented with a positive and willing attitude to help develop a new product to customers
- Able to present in front of customers, presentation and generating an interest BöttcherTec compound technology will be introduced and sold into
- Great listening skills, ability to decipher customer needs
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Creativity thinker with ability to visualize solutions
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within Malaysia
- Technical aptitude preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 1-3 years sales experience in industrial preferred. Fresh graduates may apply
- Technical sales ability calling into Quality/Operations and or Production Manufacturing
- Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, proactive and reliable
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player willing to adapt as needs require and as the organization grows.
- Coordinate communication with members of the sales team and other departments to meet specific client requirements
- Ability to analyse, understand and present technical product specifications
- Ability to showcase BöttcherTec to manufacturing/production floor
- Must have strong writing and speaking skills to present complex concepts in a clear manner to various audiences
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Compensation will be commensurate with experience including a base salary, bonus opportunity & monthly sales incentives
