Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in finance/account/economic or any other business relevant academic qualifications.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles & financial regulations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility & confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Able to work independently & as part of a team.
  • Good time management & ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willing to learn & adapt to new systems or processes.
  • Able to work under pressure during peak periods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper accounting records, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and filed.
  • Perform data entry and update accounting systems in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial reports and schedules.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g., auditors, vendors, and banks) on finance-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
  • Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion.
  • Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
