Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily execution of civil or electrical works at the project site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
- Ensure that all works comply with the Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (QESH) requirements as outlined in the project manual.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, inspections, and progress reports.
- Ensure all activities align with Environmental, Safety, and Health regulations and policies, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Provide technical solutions to on-site challenges and escalate complex issues to the relevant managers.
- Monitor construction activities such as foundations, structures, drainage systems, and landscaping (Civil).
- Verify materials, workmanship, and site conditions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Interpret and implement construction drawings and coordinate the work to align with planned timelines.
- Conduct inspections for formworks, rebar installation, and concrete pouring (Civil).
- Ensure all civil works meet the required standards and are inspected and approved before proceeding to the next stage (Civil).
- Oversee the installation of switchgear, transformers, cables, and earthing systems for substation projects (Electrical).
- Ensure compliance with design, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Assist in testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems (Electrical).
- Maintain records of electrical works, including test results, inspections, and progress updates (Electrical).
- Collaborate with other disciplines (civil and mechanical) to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with overall project objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications are an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in substation or infrastructure projects.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of civil or electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with substation systems, components, and construction methods.
- Ability to identify and resolve on-site technical and operational issues efficiently.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interactions and reporting.
- Skilled in managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Personal Attributes:

- Willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Other Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possession of a valid driving license for site visits.
