1. Hostel Management
- Oversee daily operations of the worker hostel or accommodation.
- Ensure the hostel environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Monitor occupancy and room allocation for workers.
2. Resident Discipline & Welfare
- Ensure residents follow hostel rules and regulations.
- Handle complaints or disputes among residents.
- Monitor worker behavior and report misconduct to HR or management.
- Provide support to workers in case of emergencies or welfare issues.
3. Safety & Security
- Ensure hostel safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor entry and exit of residents and visitors.
- Ensure emergency procedures such as fire safety and evacuation plans are followed.
- Report any suspicious activities or security issues.
5. Maintenance Coordination
- Report damages or maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Ensure facilities such as water, electricity, and sanitation are functioning properly.
- Coordinate repair works when necessary.
6. Compliance with Government Regulations
- Ensure hostel complies with Act 446 requirements.
- Assist during inspections by government authorities (e.g., JTK / Labour Department).
Ensure workers follow hygiene and accommodation standards.
7. Others
- Support Ad Hoc job (Send worker to clinic @ Hospital , go to KLIA & Bangladesh Embassy for foreign worker matters, Immigration, sometimes support Operation teams to send cube from Ulu Choh to Senai or others)
- Support Security Guard
- To ensure guard following EPSB Shipment procedures
- To ensure all visitors / vendors are properly registered
- To replace & assist security guard – During the absence of security guard
