We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Production Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who prioritizes safety and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and testing of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventive maintenance and identify mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of production batches, equipment readings, and maintenance activities.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the engineering team to suggest workflow enhancements and waste reduction strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Technical certificate or Diploma (Technical certification in related field such as Mechanical, electrical or Industrial engineering ).
- Fresh graduate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand/power tools.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and equipment monitoring.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5s is an advantage.
- Experience with specific electrical configurations (e.g., Star-Delta motor connections).
