Responsibilities
1. Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), and pricing strategies for tender submissions.
2. Source subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate prices, and assess the quality of their products and workmanship.
3. Evaluate contract terms, review all contract documentation, identify risks, and provide advice on contractual obligations.
4. Monitor project costs, prepare progress claims, and ensure proper management of financial cash flow.
5. Assess subcontractor claims, issue payment certificates, and manage variations.
6. Handle variation orders, prepare detailed cost breakdowns for additional work, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
7. Prepare the final account and cost report, settling accounts with both the client and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
- Computer literate MS Excel / Words / Autocad
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with attention to detail.
