Technical Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

1. Provide technical support, installation, and maintenance for security systems, ICT infrastructure, and system integration projects.
2. Assist in the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of systems such as CCTV, access control, alarm systems, networking, servers, and structured cabling.
3. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and system upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.
4. Collaborate with project teams and clients to identify requirements and deliver customized technical solutions.
5. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
6. Conduct site surveys and prepare technical proposals or Bill of Materials (BOM) for new projects.
7. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware, software, and licensing procurement.
8. Ensure that all project implementation complies with industry standards, company SOPs, and safety regulations.
9. Provide post-installation support and training to clients or end users.
10. Continuously keep up to date with emerging technologies and product innovations in ICT and security systems.
11. To manage Central Monitoring Station (CMS) and provide weekly CCTV & ACS Reports.

Job Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
2. Preferably 1–3 years of experience in system integration, ICT, or security system projects (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
3. Knowledge of network configuration (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls) and security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) is an added advantage.
4. Familiar with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Windows OS, and basic networking concepts.
5. Hands-on experience with hardware setup, cabling, and troubleshooting.
6. Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities for coordination with clients and internal departments.
8. Willing to travel and work on-site when required (nationwide projects).
9. Possess a valid driving license (D or B2) is an advantage.
10. Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work under minimal supervision.
