Commis Pastry , you’ll play a key role in developing recipes, leading the pastry production team, and ensuring every product meets the highest standards of taste and quality. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and love working in a dynamic kitchen environment, this role is made for you!
Requirements
- Minimum SMK/Diploma in Culinary, Pastry, or related field
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking equipment
- Strong creativity and attention to detail, with ability to innovate new products
- Good teamwork and leadership skills to guide kitchen staff
Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise the production of pastries, breads, and desserts
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all pastry products
- Monitor inventory, raw materials, and pastry-related equipment
- Train and support junior staff in pastry-making techniques
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the pastry section
