  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) or Application Support in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience working with Life Asia, including policy administration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation, analysis, troubleshooting, and database verification.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and query optimization.
  • Good knowledge of Life Insurance business processes, including policy issuance, underwriting, premium collection, claims, endorsements, and policy servicing.
  • Experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and coordinating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect management tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or implementing Life Insurance Core Systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and business workflows.
  • Experience using testing tools and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of APIs, system integration, or batch processing is a plus
