Solid Perks, Pay Needs Improvement for Hotel Staff
Pros: The employee travel discounts are awesome; you can really see the world for cheap. Health insurance and 401k plans are pretty standard and decent for a large corporate hotel. It's a good foot in the door for anyone wanting to grow in the luxury hospitality industry.
Cons: Base pay for a Front Desk Agent in Miami isn't great, it's hard to live comfortably without a second job. Raises are really slow coming, even with good performance reviews. There aren't many opportunities for significant pay bumps or bonuses outside of management roles for hotel staff.
