Pros: The work from home setup is really good. I've enjoyed the flexibility as a software engineer. My direct team is supportive, and we have decent collaboration even though we're all remote from different locations like Austin.
Cons: The broader company culture can feel a bit impersonal. It's tough to connect with leadership, and there's not much happening outside of virtual team meetings. For a mid-sized tech company, I hoped for more engagement.
Advice to Management: Try to build more meaningful connections for remote employees. Maybe some optional in-person meetups or better virtual social events. Focus on team building beyond just project deliverables.
