Pros: The team in Ubud, Bali is awesome, super passionate about sustainability and building this community. As a Software Engineer, I got to work on lots of different parts of their wellness tech platform. It's a great experience for getting diverse skills in a new venture.
Cons: Job security here just isn't its strongest point. Things can change super fast, which is pretty typical for a startup environment. Funding seems a bit up and down, so it makes you wonder about the future of some tech roles.
Advice to Management: Focus on solidifying funding and communicating future plans more clearly to improve job security for the team. Transparency goes a long way.

Pros: I've learned a ton about software development here. The team is really collaborative, and I appreciate the fully remote setup, working from Denver. There are lots of interesting projects to tackle.
Cons: Work-life balance here is tough. For entry-level tech roles, expect to put in more than 40 hours most weeks. Sometimes I feel like I'm always online, even WFH.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce clearer boundaries around working hours, especially for remote employees. More support for Junior Software Engineers to manage workloads would really help.

Pros: The base salary wasn't terrible for an entry-level Marketing Specialist here, definitely covers basic living in Bali. It's cool being involved in a startup environment; you get to see a lot of things from the ground up, which is a pro for learning.
Cons: The benefits package is pretty basic, honestly. Don't expect much beyond the absolute legal minimum, which is tough for healthcare in Indonesia. There's no real retirement plan or competitive health insurance, which isn't ideal for long-term employees in the wellness tourism industry.
Advice to Management: Please consider improving the benefits package, especially health insurance and retirement plans, to attract and retain talent. It would make a huge difference for employees living in Bali and looking for stability beyond just the base salary.
