Tarumanagara Foundation is a legal entity which was established on June 18, 1959. The first unit we built was an education unit called Tarumanagara University (UNTAR). Over time and the development of the Tarumanagara Foundation, we began to form several business units such as property and building management company, also a hospital unit. We have three main values as our work culture, specifically: integrity, professionalism and entrepreneurship. These three values underlie our work culture and our commitment to provide educational and business activities, also health services that provide value and convenience to all levels of society.

Pros: Good starting point if you're just getting into the education non-profit industry. You get to work on meaningful projects that impact local communities. The Jakarta office team is supportive. It helps when you're learning as a program coordinator.
Cons: Career growth is pretty slow here. Not many advancement opportunities, especially for mid-level roles. You hit a ceiling quickly. Promotion paths aren't clear, tough to plan your future. My skills weren't fully utilized. Not much chance to take on new challenges.
Advice to Management: Invest more in developing clearer career paths and training programs for employees. It would help retain talent in the non-profit sector.
