Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here is pretty solid, especially if you're early in your career. It's competitive with similar mid-sized tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area for data analytics roles. We get a decent 401k match too, which helps.
Cons: The health insurance plans aren't great; high deductibles are a pain. And there aren't many extra perks or bonuses compared to what I've seen at other tech companies. PTO is also just average, nothing special.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the health benefits and consider offering more competitive perks. It would help attract and retain top talent for engineering roles.
