Pros: The hybrid work option is nice. I can generally pick which days I come into the Singapore office. It's helpful for managing personal stuff. As a Software Engineer, I appreciate not being stuck onsite 5 days a week.
Cons: There's an unwritten expectation to be in more than the minimum. Some teams have less flexibility than others, which feels a bit unfair. It's not truly WFH friendly if your manager prefers you in.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid policy more clearly across all teams and empower managers to genuinely support work-life balance for all roles in the FinTech industry.
