Pros: You get some decent flexibility for personal appointments, especially in the Greenville office. Some teams, particularly for office-based engineering roles, have adopted a hybrid model which is a solid step. It's not a strict 9-to-5 if you manage your tasks well.
Cons: For many roles, especially anything close to production lines in tire manufacturing, true flexibility is tough. Onsite requirements are pretty strict, and shifting schedules can be a real challenge for Process Engineers. Don't expect much WFH if you're on the plant floor.
Advice to Management: Really consider more remote or hybrid options for all feasible roles, not just a select few. The automotive industry is changing, and retaining talent means adapting.
