Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain an independent management audit system to ensure effectiveness of policies, achievement of objectives, and compliance with statutory and railway operational requirements
- Establish and implement audit review frameworks to ensure management systems are controlled, effective, and compliant with applicable requirements
- Develop and execute the annual audit plan, coordinate audit programmes, and lead a small team to deliver professional and high-quality audits
- Ensure compliance of contractors’ work with divisional and statutory requirements by managing and monitoring the contractor audit programme
- Analyse audit findings, identify control deficiencies, and provide recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks and enhance operational effectiveness
- Ensure high audit quality standards by developing the team with broad knowledge in railway operations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct management system audit reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards, statutory and operational requirements, and ongoing suitability of the management systems
Requirements
- DDegree in Management / Engineering / Engineering Science or a recognised professional qualification in a relevant discipline
- A minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience in internal or external Supplier Quality Engineer auditing of a high reliability organisation with at least 5 years at managerial level
- Possession of membership of a professional institution or registered status of relevant discipline
- Knowledge in safety, quality, environment management system and other management system standards and practices such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO55001 is preferred
- Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting writing skills
