Decent tech company, but job security is iffy
Pros: For a software engineer, the pay was solid. I worked remote from Texas, which was a huge plus for my work-life balance. The projects were interesting too, good for learning in the tech industry.
Cons: Job security here is pretty low, honestly. There were too many layoffs and reorgs during my time. You always felt like your role could be eliminated in the next quarter.
Advice to Management: Focus on stability and clear communication. The constant changes and fear of layoffs hurt morale and make it hard for people to feel secure in their roles. Invest in your talent instead of frequent cuts.

Good culture, but career paths aren't clear
Pros: The team is pretty solid, and the `company culture` around wellness is nice. We had decent `hybrid work` flexibility, which was a huge plus for my `work-life balance`.
Cons: Career advancement is slow for `marketing professionals` here. There isn't much of a clear path to move up, even after proving yourself. It's tough to see long-term growth as a `Digital Marketing Specialist` in the `Los Angeles, CA` office.
Advice to Management: Establish clear career ladders and development programs for team members. Provide more opportunities for internal promotion and skill development.

Solid Remote Setup, Watch the Workload
Pros: The biggest perk is the work flexibility. As a Software Engineer, I could work remote from home most days, which helped a lot with personal commitments. It's a mid-sized tech company, so they've got good WFH policies in place.
Cons: Even with remote work, the pressure during sprint cycles can get pretty intense. It's tough to fully disconnect sometimes. Not every manager handles the work flexibility the same way, so it really depends on your team.
Advice to Management: Standardize expectations for remote teams across all departments. Ensure managers support work-life balance proactively, especially during demanding periods, so engineers truly benefit from the work flexibility.
