Customer Support Developer - WFH

## About the Role

Our client is seeking an AI Product Developer to build AI-powered, agentic workflows that modernize construction planning and scheduling. This product-focused role involves designing and developing intelligent automation systems, conversational interfaces, and autonomous AI agents that help construction teams operate more efficiently.

The position focuses on delivering practical, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions. You will work across backend development, AI integrations, agentic workflows, APIs, and frontend collaboration to create user-focused products and intelligent construction workflows.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and implement agentic AI workflows to automate construction processes.

* Build intelligent AI agents for scheduling, resource allocation, and project optimization.

* Develop conversational interfaces and implement effective prompt engineering strategies.

* Create and maintain scalable backend services using Python and/or Golang.

* Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs into core construction workflows.

* Design and build scalable APIs to support complex construction project data.

* Develop and deploy agent-based chat systems to production.

* Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver cohesive AI-driven user experiences.

* Build intelligent automation solutions focused on practical user outcomes.

* Develop AI-powered product features that support construction planning and scheduling workflows.

* Work with SQL and NoSQL databases as part of application and AI development.

* Contribute to scalable, production-ready AI product development in a remote environment.

## Required Qualifications

* 4+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong backend focus.

* Proficiency in Python and/or Golang.

* Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI APIs.

* Solid understanding of agentic systems and workflow automation concepts.

* Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain.

* Experience building conversational AI systems or chatbots.

* Proven experience deploying agent-based chat systems to production.

* Strong API design and development skills.

* Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

* Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

* Familiarity with React for frontend integration.

* Strong product mindset with a focus on user outcomes.

* Excellent communication skills in a remote work environment.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with construction technology or project management software.

* Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.

* Experience working with vector databases.

* Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.

* Understanding of construction industry workflows.

* Experience with Node.js.

## Compensation & Work Arrangement

* **Location:** San Ramon, CA, US

* **Work Arrangement:** Remote

* **Base Salary:** $165,000–$175,000 annually

* **Compensation:** DOE (Depending on Experience)
