The Role
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems that scale for a dedicated cloud environment serving diverse customers and organizations.
• Work backwards from customer needs, synthesizing requirements and rapidly iterating on services to deliver features.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions, influencing team strategy and roadmap.
• Drive system architecture, spearhead best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Investigate, prototype, and deliver new solutions by collaborating with business teams to understand customer issues.
• Manage and grow production-quality tools to solve operational problems using various programming languages.
What You'll Need
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
