The Role
• Design and implement custom UEFI/BIOS features for server platforms.
• Debug complex firmware issues using advanced debugging tools.
• Optimize boot time performance and platform initialization sequences.
• Implement secure boot mechanisms and firmware security features.
• Develop and maintain Power-On Self Test (POST) code and firmware update mechanisms.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up and platform validation.
What You'll Need
• 7+ years of hands-on embedded or BIOS/UEFI development experience.
• Deep expertise in x86 platform architecture and low-level system programming.
• Proven track record of leading complex firmware projects end-to-end.
• Experience collaborating with silicon vendors on platform bring-up and reference code integration.
• Proficiency in C programming for bare-metal firmware development.
• Experience with ACPI, SMM, PCIe enumeration, or secure boot.
