The Role
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical proof of concepts to system implementation and automated testing
- Develop high-quality code with minimal disruption, helping the team meet project deadlines
- Work as an individual contributor across multiple teams, understanding upstream/downstream processes and interfacing systems
- Document and contribute to solution designs, actively seeking peer feedback
- Communicate regularly on work progress and deliverables during daily standups and design sessions
- Participate in peer review sessions and lead by example in constructive technical critiques
What You'll Need
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4 to 6+ years of experience in software design and web development
- Strong programming skills in object-oriented languages, with Java preferred
- Proficient knowledge of at least one Unix or Unix variant system
- Familiarity with at least one relational database system and SQL
- Experience with Spring, MVC, JavaScript, Ajax, ORM, web services, Angular, AWS containerization, and serverless is highly beneficial
