What The Role Is
As a (Senior/ Lead) Manager, Internal Audit in the Internal Audit Branch (IAB), you will play a key role in promoting effective internal controls and good corporate governance in operations and activities in schools, MOE Headquarters (HQ) and statutory boards.
What You Will Be Working On
- Develop plans and programmes for compliance and operational audits in schools, HQ and statutory boards
- Review adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems
- Perform audits to ascertain compliance with prevailing policies and procedures
- Prepare audit reports highlighting areas of risk or deficiency and provide recommendations for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant training in Accountancy (e.g. Membership with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) and at least 2 years of relevant experience in conducting operational or financial audits
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualifications would be preferred
- Independent, self-motivated and pro-active individual
- Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools would be an advantage
