Overview

We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support global reporting platforms and ensure accurate, reliable, and timely delivery of business-critical data insights. This role focuses on investigating data issues, supporting sales reporting systems, and helping business users understand key metrics and reporting logic. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, hands-on BI tool experience, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provideend-user support for BI/reporting platforms, resolving data-related queries and issues.
  • Investigate and troubleshootdata discrepancies, missing data, and reporting inconsistenciesacross platforms.
  • Query and analyze data usingSQL or similar toolsto validate and explain results.
  • Support and maintainsales reporting dashboards and data platforms(B2B & B2C).
  • Act asTier 1 supportfor data and reporting issues, and coordinate escalations to engineering or product teams when required.
  • Monitor and managesupport requests via Slack or similar platforms, ensuring timely response and resolution.
  • Provide clear explanations ofmetrics, KPIs, and data definitionsto business users.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and product teams toidentify and resolve data pipeline or reporting issues.
  • Supportautomated workflows and bots, stepping in when manual intervention is required.
  • Ensure properdocumentation of issues, resolutions, and reporting logic.
  • Work in aglobally distributed team, supporting follow-the-sun operations across regions.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence support, reporting analysis, or data support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such asTableau, ThoughtSpot, Business Objects,or similar.
  • Strong skills inSQL or data queryingfor data investigation and validation.
  • Good understanding ofsales reporting metrics and KPIs (B2B and/or B2C environments).
  • Experience supporting business users and explaining technical data in simple terms.
  • Familiarity withSlack-based workflows, ticketing systems, or support automation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests across different platforms and time zones.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred / Advantage:

  • Experience withsales/channel performance reportingin a technology-driven environment.
  • Familiarity withdata pipelines and reporting architectures.
  • Experience working withautomated support workflows, chatbots, or intake systems.
  • Ability to work in aglobal, follow-the-sun support model.
  • Experience collaborating withdata engineering and product teamsfor issue resolution.
