Role Summary:-We are looking for a Senior Java Microservices Architect to design and develop scalable distributed systems and microservices. The role will focus on architecture, integration, performance, security, reliability, and delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:-- Design and develop scalable Java/J2EE microservices and distributed systems.
- Translate functional requirements into technical architecture and designs.
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for microservices.
- Develop REST and SOAP APIs and support API integration.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs and stakeholders to understand and deliver requirements.
- Design solutions considering performance, scalability, reliability, availability, security, and cost.
- Develop accelerators, reusable components, and tools to improve delivery quality.
- Identify technical risks and recommend suitable solution alternatives.
- Support deployment of Java microservices on Kubernetes.
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and platforms.
Skills & Requirements:-- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Strong expertise in Microservices, SOA, REST, and SOAP.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and clean coding practices.
- Experience developing scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, JMS, or similar messaging technologies.
- Knowledge of Spring Cloud and API Gateway technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Swagger/OpenAPI and REST principles.
- Knowledge of OAuth/token-based authentication and secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of PCI/security standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:-- Experience with MSSQL, data modelling, query development, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Drools, JRules, JBoss, or other rules engines.
- Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks/EMS.
- Experience migrating TIBCO services to Spring Boot microservices.
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
