Join a Leading Global Semiconductor Manufacturer
An established multinational semiconductor manufacturer is expanding its wafer fabrication operations in Singapore and is looking for multiple Process Engineers to join its engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex manufacturing challenges, driving process improvements, and working in a high-volume advanced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Sustain and continuously improve semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes to achieve quality, yield, productivity, and cost targets.
- Monitor and analyze process performance using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other data analysis tools to identify process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate process excursions, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term corrective and preventive actions.
- Design, execute, and analyze Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process capability and improve manufacturing performance.
- Support the introduction and qualification of new processes and equipment, working closely with Equipment Engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Drive yield improvement initiatives and reduce process variation through data-driven engineering solutions.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and provide guidance to junior engineers on process analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Equipment, Integration, and Quality teams to resolve complex technical issues and achieve operational KPIs such as yield, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Participate in cross-functional improvement projects, benchmarking activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites.
- Ensure engineering documentation, specifications, and quality standards are maintained in accordance with industry and company requirements.
The Talent
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer process engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and make sound engineering decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work normal or swing shifts, with flexibility to support 12-hour rotating shifts when required.
