Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for network-related issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
Log, track, and update incidents using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, ensuring tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs.
Monitor network performance using CloudCampus and other monitoring tools to identify and respond to potential issues proactively.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams with clear documentation and troubleshooting details.
Perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure, including firmware updates, configuration backups, and system health checks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, HCIA, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and the OSI model.
Basic experience with configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls, preferably Huawei, Sophos, or Fortinet devices.
Familiarity with network diagnostic tools such as Ping, Traceroute, Nslookup, and Wireshark.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to end users.
Able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and standby duties when required.
