What The Role Is
As a Corporate Planning officer in the Strategic Planning and Finance Division (SPFD), you will be planning, coordinating and executing key corporate planning workstreams to ensure that MCCY operates as a cohesive ministry — strengthening alignment across MCCY HQ and its family agencies and supporting the ministry's mission to build citizenry and keep the nation together. You will work closely with senior leaders and officers across the MCCY family, engaging diverse stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, strengthen corporate governance, and cultivate a collaborative culture across the ministry family.
What You Will Be Working On
- Support MCCY's corporate planning activities to ensure the ministry operates cohesively with strong internal coordination and external representation. This includes planning and implementing ministry-wide engagement events such as Senior Management Advances, Leadership Advances, and Town Halls to facilitate strategic alignment of leadership across the ministry family. You will also support end-to-end parliamentary preparations across HQ divisions and family agencies — including the Committee of Supply debate, President's Addendum, and NMP nominations — to achieve strong strategic and communications outcomes and enhance MCCY's public profile and policy communication.
- Maintain stewardship of the MCCY Corporate Handbook for Companies Limited by Guarantee (CLGs) by evaluating and recommending areas for update, coordinating with internal stakeholders across IT, HR and Finance to ensure content is comprehensive and current, and developing a communications approach to convey compliance requirements to family agencies. Your work here will directly contribute to reducing audit findings, standardising governance practices across the ministry family, and strengthening risk management and accountability.
- Review and refresh corporate and organisational platforms to strengthen HQ's operational effectiveness and resilience. This includes engaging consultants to update and validate Business Continuity Management plans and processes as well as leading an intranet refresh to improve ease of information retrieval for officers. You will also put in place a cross-departmental team to steward and jointly manage intranet content, ensuring consistency and adherence to the knowledge management framework.

- Strong planning, organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
