Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross functional teams to understand product features and architecture.
• Deriving meaningful test scenarios based on business requirements and system workflows.
• Performing functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing on tasks and epics.
• Developing and maintaining an up-to-date regression pack to ensure ongoing testing of critical functionalities.
• Writing, executing, and maintaining test cases for automation.

• Proven experience in quality assurance across automated and manual testing within software development with at least 3+ years of experience.
• Should have 2+ years’ experience in front-end, API and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts using tools like Playwright, Cypress, K6 and Postman.
• Strong preference for experience in scripting language such as TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Skilled in using CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, TeamCity etc
• Experience using Jira or similar project management tool.
• Maintain and enhance test documentation including test scenarios and bug reports.
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive and independent approach.
• Capable of working on multiple tasks simultaneously and managing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant testing qualifications such as ISTQB, Agile software testing courses.
• Experience with Playwright using Typescript language.

The PQE is responsible for ensuring quality and reliability performance of our products, wherever they are designed, manufactured, and assembled, by performing best in class Product Qualification in accordance with international standards and customer requirements. The PQE is also responsible for Reliability Monitoring through ORT.

The PQE works cross-functionally with Design, Test, Manufacturing, Reliability Labs, FA Labs, and Customer/Supplier Quality to prevent defects, drive robust product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, perform, and review Qualification (new products, second source, material changes, design changes, process changes
• Define, evaluate, and implement suitable stress tests for related product applications.
• Ensure product compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, JEDEC, etc.).
• Communicate qualification plans and data with customer (Silicon, Package and Board Level).
• Participate in risk assessments (e.g., DFMEA) and ensure mitigation actions are implemented and validated.

This position is expected to provide Test Operations and Engineering support for products post manufacturing release and deliver operational excellence through cost reductions, OEE, yield and cycle time improvements to achieve our test KPI goals with our Test Manufacturing Sites (Internal and Outsourcing Suppliers) in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and across Asia (Taiwan, China, Korea). Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Test Operations interface to Renesas Product Groups and other functional teams (Supply Chain, Quality, Packaging, Foundry, PMO) across US, Japan, India, Malaysia, and China on all phases of product lifecycle
• Execute daily test operations activities with internal factories and test OSATs to ensure customer delivery fulfillment (i.e. Lot tracking and dispositions, Test Program releases, Hardware Troubleshooting/Repairs, Equipment up-time, Tester Utilization OEE tracking, Continuous Improvement Process, etc)
• Coordinate Probe/Final Test transfer from New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing from Renesas Product Group groups
• Execute new test capacity expansions (tester/ handler/ hardware) to ensure sufficient capacity and meet production demand
• Deployment of new tester/handler technology and test solutions to test manufacturing sites from test development
• Implement best known practices and process within test manufacturing sites
• Drive Gross Margins (OEE, Yield, Retest) improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor cleanroom environmental surveys, to verify compliance and support area buy-off.                             
• Develop and execute contamination sampling plans for cleanroom environmental, equipment, tools, and process samples to ensure cleanliness and prevent yield-impacting defects.                            
• Perform routine and event-based environmental and equipment sampling to support operational readiness and cleanroom classification.                                
• Manage handling and qualification of cleanroom indirect materials by setting cleanliness criteria, performing inspections, and approving materials for use.                                   
• Define cleanroom protocols, including gowning, behavior, and contamination prevention practices, and provide training to ensure compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Test Application Engineer to support and sustain Final Test (FT) operations in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining stable test performance, resolving production test issues, supporting equipment and hardware, and ensuring consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

• Sustain and maintain FT ATE performance for mass production
• Provide daily production test support to ensure stable test operations
