Cloud Security Engineer
📍 Kraków | hybrid: 6 days per month from the office
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on cloud security professional who can combine technical depth with advisory skills. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure cloud services are secure, compliant, and ready for production.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct technical Cloud Security Assessments for services tracked via ServiceNow
- Act as a trusted advisor to teams, guiding secure cloud deployments into production
- Ensure proper implementation of cloud security controls across environments
- Drive continuous improvement and automation within assessment processes
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Monitor industry trends and promote best practices in cloud security
- Deliver against defined performance and quality targets]
What we expect:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or GCP + at least one additional cloud (Azure or similar)
- Solid understanding of risk, controls, and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to work with engineering teams and influence technical decisions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex topics clearly to different audiences
- Proactive, self-driven mindset with high ownership and integrity
Nice to have:
- Experience performing cybersecurity assessments or security reviews
- Exposure to Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub)
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC or cloud security certifications)
