The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming deliveries. This role ensures that all items received are accurate, in good condition, and properly recorded in the inventory system.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from suppliers or delivery personnel
- Check delivery documents against actual items received (quantity, quality, specifications)
- Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues immediately
- Record received items in the inventory system accurately
- Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams regarding deliveries and shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area
- Assist in inventory counts and stock audits when needed
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Graduate of a vocational course or Bachelors degree in any field
- With experience in receiving items and equipment, preferably in electronics or construction materials
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledgeable in warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems is an advantage
- Willing to be assigned in Plainview, Mandaluyong City
- Available to start immediately
