Job Overview

As the Accounting Manager / Controller, you will take full ownership of the cycle bookkeeping and financial organization for our restoration divisions. You will be responsible for ensuring that every project's income, expenses, and contractor payments are tracked with high precision to support our growth into new markets.


Job Highlights

Schedule: Full Time - 40h per week - Flexible within 8AM-6PM MST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting operations across two company divisions.
  • Track project-level financials including incoming revenue, outgoing expenses, and fund allocation.
  • Manage accounts payable including vendor and contractor payments and disbursements.
  • Generate accurate financial reports, projections, and weekly status updates for leadership.
  • Establish and maintain standardized financial processes and documentation across divisions.
  • Prepare and organize file labeling and backend documentation for all active restoration projects.
  • Collaborate with the office manager to communicate payment needs and financial priorities.


Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of accounting and administrative experience in a US-based business environment.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • High level of attention to detail and expert organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bonus if you have experience in the restoration or construction industry.
  • It helps if you have managed multi-entity or multi-divisional accounting previously.
