The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall information technology infrastructure, with a strong focus on Point of Sale (POS) systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and retail operations support. The role ensures system stability, security, and efficiency to support business growth and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain POS systems across all retail branches, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Oversee ERP system implementation, integration, maintenance, and optimization
- Lead IT support for retail operations, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Ensure system uptime, data integrity, and cybersecurity compliance
- Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical support
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices for retail systems
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and store personnel
- Manage IT projects such as system enhancements, digital transformation, and automation initiatives
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency
- Lead and supervise IT team members or external IT service providers
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as IT Manager or similar role in retail industry
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and ERP platforms (implementation and support)
- Experience in multi-branch retail operations is highly preferred
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems integration
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple system issues simultaneously
Preferred Skills
- Experience with retail POS systems (e.g., cloud-based or on-premise)
- ERP system exposure (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Cybersecurity awareness and data protection practices
- Vendor management and IT budgeting experience
