Under the direct supervision of the IT Supervisor, the Junior PHP Developer is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of PHP-based web applications that support Loc&Stor 24/7s business operations. The role requires collaboration with the IT team to ensure efficient coding practices, system reliability, and delivery of user-friendly digital solutions aligned with company goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of PHP-based web applications and internal systems.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving best practices.
- Support database operations including SQL optimization and integration.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of APIs and third-party integrations.
- Ensure web application security, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain documentation of development processes and system changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
- At least one (1) year of experience or internship in PHP development or a related field.
- Strong foundation in web development principles and object-oriented programming.
