Job Description

  • Plans, organizes, controls and manages the execution of all tasks in the Department in a totally coordinated effort with other PHILGUARANTEE units as well as with concerned government and private entities;
  • Provides strategies and general management of the various functions of the Department;
  • Manages the conduct of credit analysis, credit appraisal and credit investigation as required by the Corporation;
  • Establishes linkages with teams, partners, or other stakeholders across government and relevant sectors;
  • Conceptualizesand manages the development/innovation of products/services of the Department;
  • Recommends and reviews policies and strategies for the improvement of internal processes and services to clients;
  • Reviews and/or signs documents, correspondence/communications, vouchers, reports, and other papers relative to the management and delivery of required services from the Department;
  • Ensures the accomplishment of targets through a periodic assessment of the performance of the staff and a review of departmental plans and targets;
  • Recommends developmental interventions and conducts coaching, if necessary, to correct, sustain, or enhance performance; and
  • Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job, preferably with Master's Degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from CSC
  • Work Experience: 10 years of relevant experience preferably in financial services, investment, credit, or marketing experience in a bank with a minimum of 5 years supervisory/ management experience
  • Training: 120 hours of supervisory/ management learning and development intervention
  • Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility)
