About The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close. The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory accounting, NetSuite, and CPG/food retail businesses, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee inventory accounting, COGS, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.
- Manage AP processes, vendor payments, and Ramp expense and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite and ensure US GAAP compliance.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve inventory accuracy and financial processes.
- Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
