HR Payroll Specialist (Remote)
TalentPop is looking for an
HR Payroll Specialist to join our growing People Operations team. In this role, you'll help ensure our HR and payroll processes run smoothly by supporting payroll administration, employee records, workforce reporting, and internal HR operations. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about creating efficient systems, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Support payroll processing, including time-tracking reviews, payroll validation, compensation updates, and payment coordination.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, and workforce reports to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and confidential information.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure payroll and HR processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Respond to payroll, time-tracking, and HR-related inquiries.
- Prepare reports using Excel, Google Sheets, and internal systems.
- Support HR platforms such as Hubstaff, HubSpot, and other workforce management tools.
- Help improve HR and payroll processes through automation, AI tools, and system enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, compensation administration, or a similar HR support role.
- Experience using payroll, time-tracking, or workforce management systems; Hubstaff experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience supporting global teams or international payroll is an advantage.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other HR and workforce management tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and embracing technology.

- Backup internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps)
Hardware
- Desktop or laptop with a minimum Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- At least 8 GB RAM
- Desktop or laptop only (no tablets or smartphones)
Power
- Reliable power source with minimal outages
- Backup power solution is highly recommended
- Access to an alternative work location during extended power interruptions
