We are looking for a Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores. This role is ideal for someone who can work with minimal supervision, take ownership of projects, and contribute to improving eCommerce websites for performance, functionality, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and themes
- Build and modify Shopify pages, layouts, and store functionalities based on business requirements
- Customize Shopify themes
- Implement website enhancements, integrations, and performance improvements
- Manage product listings, collections, apps, and store configurations
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently
- Apply SEO best practices and optimize site speed and performance
- Maintain organized code, documentation, and development workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders on ongoing eCommerce improvements
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer
- Experience customizing Shopify themes and implementing store features
- Experience working with Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party tools
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently
- Experience with GitHub or version control
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimization
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and communication skills
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Experience developing or customizing Shopify apps
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs
- Experience with conversion optimization or eCommerce UX improvements
- Portfolio or examples of previous Shopify projects
