Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Customer Service Department.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns regarding in-patient, out-patient, billing, admissions, professional fees, and other hospital services.
  • Provide accurate information and timely assistance to patients, clients, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with different departments to address customer concerns and service requests.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
  • Support the implementation of customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to customer service operations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or any related field.

Experience: At least 12 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, HMO, or a related field is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Basic knowledge of hospital processes, HMO transactions, billing, admissions, and insurance procedures is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer operations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
