Job Summary
The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient inventory management, achievement of sales targets, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role supervises branch personnel, maintains operational excellence, and supports the Branch Manager in driving overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the branch.
- Monitor branch sales performance and support the team in achieving sales targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate branch staff to improve productivity and performance.
- Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and punctuality.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including receiving, stock monitoring, stock transfers, and periodic inventory counts.
- Maintain proper product display, cleanliness, and organization of the branch.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and assist in maintaining accurate sales and financial records.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments regarding stock availability and replenishment.
- Prepare and submit required operational, sales, and inventory reports.
- Assist in implementing branch promotions, marketing activities, and company programs.
- Handle basic administrative tasks related to branch operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or any related field.
- At least 23 years of experience in retail, sales, or branch operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using NetSuite ERP or similar inventory/ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and travel when required.
