Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your day will be filled with analyzing software components, collaborating with team members to discuss solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications. You will also have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to enhance system performance and reliability, making a significant impact on the overall efficiency of business processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Analyze and troubleshoot application issues to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. - Document processes and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders as needed. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of application support methodologies and best practices. - Experience with system integration and data migration processes. - Proficient in debugging and optimizing RPG IV code for performance improvements. - Familiarity with database management and SQL for data manipulation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office.
