Job Summary
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that products, services, and operational processes meet established quality, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. The role conducts inspections, monitors compliance, identifies quality issues, and recommends corrective actions to maintain consistent operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections and audits of products, facilities, and operations
- Monitor compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and company policies
- Inspect food preparation, storage, handling, and serving procedures
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and areas for improvement
- Prepare inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective action recommendations
- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain quality records, audit documentation, and compliance reports
- Investigate customer complaints and quality-related incidents
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and standards
- Coordinate with operations, production, and management teams regarding quality concerns
- Support food safety, sanitation, and quality-related training programs
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, food safety, manufacturing, catering, or hospitality operations is preferred
- Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
