Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager / Assistant Accounting Manager to support our media finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial activities within the media business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding of new suppliers and clients
- Establish and review invoicing processes to enhance operational efficiency and improve cash flow
- Monitor, analyze, and close campaigns in collaboration with the Media and Operations teams
- Prepare and issue billing requests to the Shared Service team
- Ensure 100% timely and accurate billing, including validation of tax rates, agency commissions, and billing information
- Review credit notes requests, ensuring proper justification and documentation
- Participate in the month-end closing process, including revenue recognition and WIP reconciliation
- Resolve client billing and supplier invoice queries
- Conduct regular WIP meetings with stakeholders
- Support collection activities when necessary
- Manage accounts payable responsibilities
- Provide audit support (client, internal, external)
- Participate in system enhancement and process improvement projects
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience in media or advertising industry is an advantage
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work under tight timelines
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
