Monitors and handles the receiving of all incoming books from imported, local, pull-outs and transfers from warehouses and/or bookshops
Implements administrative control for all stock received at warehouse and fast track the receiving in SAP
Ensures that all books received are accounted in the system and must have the corresponding actual/physical stocks updated in the system, e.g.: weight of new titles received and books without weight.
Coordinates with Product Procurement Management Department (PPMD) regarding the documents needed for receiving of imported and local deliveries.
Reports to his/her superiors any disparity and defective re: physical counts versus the invoice or P.O. furnish/ email Warehouse Incident Report (WIR) to concerned department.
Prepares and submits to his supervisor the summary of all transfer received, pullouts, newly arrived stocks, etc.
Secondary Functions
Empowers all receiving personnel and establish rapport and teamwork among the work force.
Acts a Officer-in-charge in his section during the absence of his supervisor and prepare turn-over reports.
Ensures that all lights and electrical fixtures and equipment including faucets are properly turned off when leaving the warehouse/ premises.
Observes/ maintains cleanliness in the area by practicing Good House Keeping (GHK)
Tertiary Functions
Provides assistance at any time whenever request and inquiries are made from other section
Performs tasks as may be requested by Superiors from time to time.
