Currently they are actively seeking qualified Accountant to assume the role of Accountant based at their corporate head office in city center, Kuala Lumpur.
About the job role
The position is full time permanent role, reporting to Group Finance Manager. This is a key role within the Finance department in which you will be responsible for Group consolidations, preparing statutory accounts for the Group companies.
As Accountant for the group, you will be overall responsible to perform full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian Finance Reporting standards and responsible to perform group consolidation and involved in group consolidation and reporting.
Roles & Duties:
-Review monthly consolidation.
-Preparation and review of group financial reporting, including management accounts and reports, annual statutory, financial statements, budget, income tax/deferred tax computation.
-Manage and prepare condensed statement and quarterly financial reporting to Bursa Malaysia.
-Preparation of group consolidation of accounts, management reports, financial analysis, budget, interim/annual financial statements.
-Preparation of on monthly management account analysis.
-In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements. 
Requirements: Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have proven corporate reporting experience including managing the consolidation process.
-Malaysian in age group 30-38 with ACCA/CIMA or minimum Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
-Preferably Member of MIA.
-Proven at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing group finance in listed company environment.
-Financial/management reporting.
-Prior initial work experience gained from Big 4 or second tier audit firm would be highly regarded.
-Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
-Familiarity with the requirements of public-listed companies will be an asset.
-Knowledge of consolidation skills will be necessary.
-Must be proficient in English, spoken and written plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
-Advance-level spreadsheets skills.

TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst (Michael Kors USA, Inc., 11 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036)

DUTIES: Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting and accounting reports. Responsible for supporting the retail store divisions with budgeting, forecasting and other adhoc store KPI analysis. Manage US & CA retail store P&L and capital expenditures, including the preparation of financial budgets, monthly forecasts, and reporting. Partner with accounting team on month end journal entries and accruals as well as investigate general ledger entries to ensure proper coding. Analyze US & CA retail store P&L and provide commentary on variances against budget, prior forecast, and LY results. Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase profitability across the retail store divisions. Work on miscellaneous ad hoc reports and requests for senior executives, as needed. Prepare quarter end reporting including earnings release preparation and Board of Director presentations. Prepare and distribute store financials to Regional Directors and District Managers on a monthly basis. Prepare quarterly cash flow projections analysis to determine store impairment status. Lead monthly close and forecast calls with head of finance, accounting, and operations. Manage store projects and provide hindsight ROI analysis on renovations. Prepare payroll KPI analysis and provide insight on expense savings opportunities and efficiencies in payroll projections. Lead store team in forecast, close and budget process, ensuring the projections and actuals are accurate and complete, and little to no error. [What the role is]
The China Group's primary role is to provide in-market assistance to Singapore-based companies looking to expand their international footprint to China by identifying and developing opportunities there, including exports, overseas investments, joint ventures and other business alliances. In addition, the China Group cultivates and attract international traders to be based in Singapore.

[What you will be working on]

The job entails helping Singapore companies enter the market and/or grow their presence in China. This includes close monitoring of the political and economic landscapes in China, understanding of Singapore companies' operations in China, identifying opportunities and challenges, including regulatory roadblocks and in-market practices, and developing and implementing strategies to build strategic partnerships and facilitate market access. You will also support the various Government-to-Government engagements to foster bilateral trade and economic relations between China and Singapore.

• Tertiary qualification
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in government policy formulation, international relations and/or business or market development

You will play a key role in formulating strategies, developing, managing and delivering sectoral programmes for our local industries' upgrading and SME development in the Healthcare and Biomedical industry, with a specific focus on Healthcare Services and Products.
You will account manage high growth enterprises to facilitate their growth and expansion. Your role includes working closely with other government agencies and partners to nurture enterprises and the industry's growth. You are also required to research and analyse local and global trends, and promote the adoption of industry best practices and technologies.
