W are looking to bolster our team with the role of Application Engineer.

The purpose of this role is to provide sales support to the sales team and function as the technical knowledge centre of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prompt Quotation: Respond within the shortest time to all enquiries and prepare quotation upon discussion with relevant sales person
• Competent Equipment Selection and Solution Design: To competently select the most suitable equipment or design the best solution based on the given requirement
• Technical Support: To be the technical knowledge centre to the sales team and to conduct training for customers
• Maximise Closing Rate: Follow up closely on all qualified opportunities, handle objections and also identify opportunities to upsell/cross
• Excellent Customer Satisfaction: Update customer on delivery status, assembly status, etc. while continuously seeking for feedback for improvement on our service quality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• To participate in planning, managing and implementing Electrical & ELV services for projects.
• To prepare Construction, Shop drawing & As built drawing for M&E System.
• To ensure works are done as per contract's specification.
• To assist pre-contract & tender division with tender support for Electrical & ELV services/project support.
• To coordinate, monitor and review construction work progress.
• To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.
• Inspection and reporting of installation works completed by Contractor.
• Ensuring all materials delivered to site conform with the approved specifications and Contract requirements.
• Identifying all outstanding work to be carried out timely to meet the timeline stipulated in the Contracts.
• Identifying potential problems and delay at site and report regularly to superiors on the progress of works.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in related field is required
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD
• Good in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Good in Analysis, Design skills, Project Management and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management and Supervision
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to interact with Mandarin-speaking stakeholder.
• Travel to the site is required as necessary and able to work outstation.
