Excelcare is a privately owned nursing and care home provider established for over 34 years. Our Essex region comprises 11 care homes. We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Quality Assurance Administration Partner to join a strong and well-established Home Management and Regional Team.

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Deputy Regional Operations Director (DROD) your role will be to support in the monitoring of Quality throughout the homes in the region by providing administrative support to the DROD and Regional Team members. This role will require travel to 11 of our Care Homes in the Essex Region in Harlow, South Benfleet, Dovercourt, Maldon, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Colchester, Saffron Walden, Rayleigh and Brentwood - car allowance and business mileage will be paid.

About the Regional Quality Assurance Administration Partner role:

• Monitoring compliance actions set for each home and produce reports as required
• Management of team members annual leave
• Organise dairies to ensure that all home support visits, and location of the team members is known
• To collate and request information as directed to support in Quality assurance and Governance processes
• Ensuring that all surveys (Residents, Relatives, professionals, Team etc.) are sent out and returned by the designated date.
• Maintaining a regional diary of key events i.e. PIR, inspections, deadlines, etc.
• Support in the provision of information for daily reports that are required each day
• Provide cover and support in the absence of the Business Support Administrator who is one of the Regional Team members
• Management of supervisions and appraisal meetings and documents for team members who report to the DROD

A qualified and experienced building control surveyor who is Class 3 Registered by the Building Safety Regulator. The role will undertake the role independently with minimal supervision from the team at Manchester. Will work remotely with the potential to be office based if prefered.

The Journeys and Places Team is actively involved a range of schemes across the borough to deliver a connected network of walking and cycling routes, low traffic neighbourhoods, school street and town centre enhancements.
We have an opportunity in the Design and Construction Pillar for an Engineer that will deliver the design and construction of new schemes. You will be responsible for delivering a range of projects from inception to completion through the application of specialist skills. This will include inspections and surveys, feasibility and options studies, project management and financial control, design, site supervision and contract management.
You will provide expert advice on all aspects of environmental and civil engineering design, highway maintenance and asset management issues relating to the authority’s own work as well as for commissions from other clients, who may be internal or external to the Council.
A key aspect of this post will be to deliver complex projects or work programmes simultaneously, ensuring effective budgetary control of individual schemes. You will need to have a proven knowledge and experience in this area of work, particularly in delivering schemes in an urban environment.
You should have a HNC/BSc/BEng in civil engineering or other relevant and equivalent qualification (or to be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise).
