We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing and Student Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing resources(espescially in local and China), be able to lead a team to achieve enrollment targets, and provide high-quality services to students and parents. This role requires evening work until 9 PM and weekend availability.

The mRNA Foundry is a nationally funded programme which aims to build mRNA manufacturing capabilities to support public and private sector R&D capabilities towards clinical applications and pandemic preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the execution of the programme and delivery of strategic objectives and plans of the Foundry to achieve the core missions.
• To lead an integrated and diverse PD team from upstream production, downstream purification, formulation, and scale-up & analytical disciplines for mRNA drug substance and drug product manufacturing
• To lead day-to-day operations, manage and develop mRNA Foundry team.
• To oversee technology transfer processes to/from internal and external manufacturing teams
• To actively identify and collaborate to innovate and optimise platform performance.
• To ensure the timely delivery of core projects

Requirements:

• PhD with more than 10 years of relevant working/industry experience or MSc with more than 15 years of relevant working/industry experience, preferably with a background in mRNA, molecular biology and/or formulation.
• Experience in manufacturing, QC and GLP/GMP settings.
• Extensive technical experience in the scale-up and process analytics for mRNA production & formulation.
• Familiar with the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in leading a project team to successfully deliver goals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good understanding, innovative mindset and keen eye for industry needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to think ahead to plan and execute with team.

Job Requirements:

As lead of the DxD Hub’s Corporate Planning team:

• Develop and align strategies to economic and national agenda (e.g. DxD Hub 2.0 in RIE2025 strategy), including strengthening linkages with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MOH, clinical clusters in setting up satellite programmes).
• Translate overarching DxD Hub’s strategies into an action plan, coordinating across public sector and internal stakeholders and entities to achieve Enterprise’s desired outcomes.
• Set, monitor and report performance and tracking indicators for DxD Hub in alignment with Enterprise and its operating units and in partnership with finance for financial targets.
• Establish and maintain corporate branding and public awareness of DxD Hub.
• Perform Divisional reporting and communications functions with stakeholders within A*STAR, governing and advisory boards, as well as other public agencies in the ecosystem.
• Review internal operational processes for possible improvements, in alignment with Enterprise and A*STAR best practices.
• Build capabilities of service platforms & drive realization of business outcome.
• Hires, motivates, develops, and retains key talent.
• Develop and deliver accurate reports of operational metrics to the COO and CEO.
• Deliver monthly operation reports.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science and/or Engineering
• At least a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience in strategic and/or corporate planning.
• Possess strong strategic and analytical thinking skills. Able to identify and contextualise stakeholder issues and manage them appropriately.
• Good communication in written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team and guide the team to achieve their tasks.
• Able to work outside of organizational boundaries to engage external stakeholders as necessary.
