Role and responsibilities
- Lead and define automation strategy using Playwright
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
- Conduct PR reviews and enforce code quality, best practices, and standards
- Manage test reporting and QA metrics (dashboards, test trends, insights)
- Drive R&D initiatives to improve automation efficiency and coverage
- Mentor QA engineers and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams
Bonus Skills
- Performance testing (k6, JMeter)
- Security testing (OWASP Top 10, ZAP, Burp)
- Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Datadog)
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch or scaling existing ones
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration
Experience in code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience leading or mentoring QA team members
